Don’t just survive, thrive!
But for individuals experiencing health challenges, all they CAN do is focus on survival. There’s no shame in that.
Survival is a Talent is a digital platform for individuals to share their Stories of Survival relating to health and wellness. While our stories originally focused on mental and emotional struggles, health problems can co-occur, and as a result, the lines blur. Humans are messy — we decided to embrace it! Now our stories range from mental and emotional to spiritual and physical.
Stories of Survival is a monthly feature where individuals who are struggling with their health or who have struggled in the past bring the reader into their lives. These are narrative pieces from individuals who know the true meaning of survival.
If you have a story to tell, we’d love to hear it! Take a look at our guidelines and consider submitting to help raise awareness and fight stigma.
